Design Story — “Cradle Frame”

Concept

Cradle Frame is a softly sculpted lounge chair that pairs a warm, exposed wooden skeleton with an enveloping upholstered shell. The design reads as two complementary acts: a stable, ergonomically carved frame that “cradle‑holds” the sitter, and a plush, continuous upholstery that cocoons them. The result is a tactile, human‑scaled seat that balances structural clarity with tactile comfort — approachable in both residential and hospitality settings.

Inspiration

Scandinavian woodworking and mid‑century modern silhouettes: honest joinery, gentle curves, and warm wood tones.
