Concept
Malani Pouf is a sculptural, compact ottoman that reads as a tactile accent and practical seating or footrest. Its cylindrical form, vertically striped upholstery and low-contrast dark plinth balance playful texture with grounded poise. The design is intended to function as a versatile object — a movable seat, casual table with tray, or a layering piece that brings rhythm and tactility to residential and hospitality interiors.

• Traditional upholstered poufs and drum stools reimagined with contemporary scale and clean detailing.
• Textile samplers and tailored upholstery techniques that emphasize vertical rhythm and hand-crafted finish.
• Interiors that use small objects—stools, poufs, and ottomans—to introduce pattern, color, and flexible seating.

Materials & Finishes

• Frame: plywood or molded engineered board shell for light rigidity and even round form. Reinforced lower skirt where plinth meets shell.
• Cushioning: molded high‑resilience foam top layer (20–40 mm) over a firmer support layer to balance comfort and shape retention; optional feather/down topper for premium variant.
• Upholstery: Commercial grade upholstery with high martindale cycles
